SKYN Caress Clit Vibrator by Ansell

SKYN Caress Clit Vibrator by Ansell is a handheld external pleasure device with ten vibration modes and soft silicone ends made to mimic oral stimulation. The open design cups your clitoris rather than pressing directly against it, delivering encompassing sensation that builds with your arousal. It charges via USB and runs for up to two hours per charge.

Design and build

SKYN Caress Clit Vibrator by Ansell sets itself apart with an open-cup design rather than a closed tip. The two vibrating ends sit slightly apart so they cup and cradle your clitoris, a shape that creates broader, more encompassing stimulation than direct-contact designs. This geometry mimics the sensation of oral pleasure more authentically than most external vibrators, because it stimulates the whole clitoral area rather than just the tip.

The body is moulded from ultra-soft silicone in a natural colour, with a finish that feels luxurious against skin. The device is compact enough to hold easily in one hand, yet substantial enough to feel sturdy. Unlike many Clit Pulsators that use multiple stacked speeds, the Ansell prioritises genuinely different vibration patterns, so each mode delivers a distinct sensation rather than a simple speed variation.

What stands out

• Open-cup design: The vibrating ends sit apart to cradle your clitoris rather than press directly, creating broader stimulation that mirrors partnered oral pleasure.
• Ten distinct modes: Each vibration pattern feels genuinely different—from slow pulsing to rapid waves—rather than just faster versions of the same buzz.
• Two-hour runtime: USB charging delivers enough battery life to sustain multiple sessions without constant recharging between uses.
• Ultra-soft material: The silicone finish feels luxurious and stays comfortable during longer use on sensitive skin.
• Quiet operation: Whisper-level noise means privacy in shared spaces or when discretion matters to you.

Charging, settings and first use

Charge SKYN Caress fully before your first use—plug the USB cable into the port on the base and allow two to three hours for a complete charge. A small LED indicator shows charging status. Once charged, press the power button once to activate; press again to cycle through the ten vibration modes, then a third time to switch off. Start with the gentler lower modes to explore what sensation feels right, then progress to stronger patterns as you warm up.

The open design means the vibrating ends sit naturally against your clitoris without any adjustment needed. Waterproof vibrators are useful if you want shower or bath play, but the Ansell is not waterproof so keep it away from water and clean it with a damp cloth instead. After use, wipe with a lint-free cloth and store in the included pouch away from direct sunlight.

Who it suits

Care and storage

Clean the device after every use with warm water and a gentle, unscented soap. Pat dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before storage. Store in the included pouch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not submerge in water or use in the shower. Keep away from sharp objects and rough surfaces that might damage the silicone. Battery life remains strongest if you recharge once the device fully depletes rather than topping up constantly.

What to expect

The open-cup design means the vibrating ends sit against your clitoris naturally—there is no guessing or repositioning needed. First-time users often find the gentler lower modes feel surprisingly effective, because the broader contact area distributes sensation rather than concentrating it at one point. This means you build arousal steadily rather than hitting one intensity level.

The ten vibration modes are genuinely distinct rather than speed variations. Cycling through them takes time to really experience the difference—what feels perfect one day may feel too strong or too gentle another, so exploration pays off. Most people find a few favourite modes they return to, rather than using all ten regularly.

Battery life of two hours handles most solo sessions comfortably, but partnered use over a longer evening may mean a mid-session recharge depending on how long you run it. The device remains quiet enough not to disrupt concentration or mood, and the soft silicone does not degrade noticeably with regular use if you keep it dry and clean.

People who prefer direct pinpoint stimulation sometimes find the cupping sensation too broad initially, but many discover it actually allows better control—you can angle slightly to change where pressure sits. The main trade-off is that it is not waterproof, so bath or shower use is not an option.
