Silhouette S16 Vibrator by California Exotics

Silhouette S16 Vibrator by California Exotics is a dual-action rabbit vibrator with two synchronised motors delivering ten customisable vibration patterns. It combines curved ergonomic design, soft silicone construction, and waterproof capability with USB charging for up to two hours of use on low speed. Suits anyone seeking simultaneous internal and external stimulation with full control over intensity.

Design and build

Silhouette S16 Vibrator by California Exotics features two independent motors housed within a single curved silicone body, allowing you to control clitoral and internal stimulation separately or synchronised together. The shaft curves gently to follow natural body contours, whilst the external stimulator arm sits positioned for direct contact. Soft, non-porous silicone means it feels luxurious against skin and cleans easily after each use; unlike rimming vibrators that require specialised positioning, this design works intuitively with your body's shape.

The waterproof construction means the entire vibrator can be submerged without damage, making it genuinely shower-safe or pool-safe. USB charging slots neatly into the base, delivering a full charge in approximately two hours. The motor synchronisation sets this apart from single-motor designs—the two work together in deliberate, rhythmic patterns rather than independently fighting each other.

The highlights

• Dual synchronised motors. Two independent motors coordinate rather than compete, delivering simultaneous internal and external stimulation you control completely.
• Ten customisable patterns. Move through gentle pulsing, escalating intensities, and rhythmic waves; each function feels genuinely different and lets you fine-tune sensation.
• Curved ergonomic design. The shape follows your body's natural contours, ensuring comfort during extended sessions and precise stimulation exactly where needed.
• Full waterproof construction. Seamless silicone design withstands shower, bath, and water immersion with zero damage risk or moisture seeping inside.
• Extended battery life. Two-hour runtime on lowest speed means uninterrupted sessions; forty-minute runtime on high speed suits shorter, more intense play.

Measurements and materials

• Shaft length and width: 120 millimetres long, 37.5 millimetres in diameter at widest point.
• Clitoral stimulator arm: 57.5 millimetres long, 32.5 millimetres wide, positioned for direct external contact.
• Material: Medical-grade silicone, non-porous, hypoallergenic, completely waterproof to full submersion depth.
• Power source: Rechargeable lithium-ion battery via USB cable; forty minutes high speed, two hours low speed per charge.
• Weight: Lightweight design suits extended handheld use without hand fatigue.
• Box contents: Vibrator, USB charging cable, instruction manual, one-year limited warranty card.

Using a rabbit vibrator properly

Before first use, wash the entire vibrator with warm water and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Apply water-based lubricant generously to the shaft and clitoral arm—this reduces friction and intensifies sensation. Start on the lowest vibration setting to familiarise yourself with how each motor feels, then gradually increase intensity as you discover which patterns suit you. The curved design self-positions naturally; avoid forcing it at awkward angles as this reduces stimulation and causes discomfort.

During use, take time exploring which combination of motors works best—some prefer both running synchronised, others switch between clitoral and internal stimulation separately. The ten functions offer genuine variety, so resist jumping to maximum intensity immediately; building sensation gradually produces more intense orgasms than starting at peak power. After use, wash again with warm water and soap, dry completely, and store in a cool, dry location. Unlike vibrating masturbators which need internal drying, the Silhouette's solid construction means exterior drying is sufficient.

Who gets on with it

Care and storage

Wash the vibrator thoroughly with warm water and gentle soap after each use, paying particular attention to seams where lubricant collects. Dry completely with a soft cloth before storage. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and extreme heat, which can degrade silicone. Keep the charging cable coiled loosely and away from moisture. Check the silicone monthly for any small tears or discolouration; minor surface marks do not affect safety, but deep cuts warrant replacement.

What to expect

The curved shape feels immediately intuitive during first use—most people find it positions naturally without conscious angling. The dual motors produce noticeably different sensations; the clitoral arm typically vibrates at higher frequency whilst the shaft motor provides deeper, broader stimulation. First-timers often spend their initial session exploring which combination feels best rather than chasing maximum intensity, which is the approach that yields the most satisfying results.

Battery life performs exactly as specified: forty minutes feels short if you prefer high-speed play, but two hours on low speed suits extended exploration. Charging via USB means you need a nearby outlet, and the two-hour charge time suits evening or overnight charging rather than spontaneous midday use. Water exposure causes zero issues—the vibrator genuinely withstands full shower immersion and pool time without moisture entering the motor housing.

Silicone cleaning is straightforward compared to porous materials; soap and water removes all residue without special tools or drying techniques. Some people find ten patterns excessive, settling into two or three favourites; others enjoy varying patterns each session. The curved design works well for most body shapes, though people with very petite frames occasionally find the shaft width slightly wider than ideal, whilst those preferring thicker insertable toys may find it slightly narrow.
