Getting the fit right on an apparel

Finding your correct size ensures the thong sits where it should and stays comfortable during wear. Measure around your hips at the fullest point, then consult the size guide: Small/Medium fits hip measurements up to 89 cm, Medium/Large from 84 to 99 cm, and Large/XL from 94 cm and above. The elastane content means the fabric stretches, so if you're between sizes, the smaller size will hug closer while the larger size offers more room.

Once you have your size, put the thong on and check that the waistband sits comfortably without rolling or digging in. The crotchless opening should align with your body without pulling or bunching. Most people find this thong stays put during movement thanks to the elastane blend. Explore our full lingerie range to find other styles that complement this piece or match your fit preferences.

Care and storage

Hand wash the Hot Getaway Red Crotchless Thong in cool water with mild detergent to preserve the lace and elastane fibres. Rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze out excess water—do not wring or twist. Hang to air-dry away from direct sunlight, which can fade the vibrant red over time. Store flat or loosely folded in a breathable drawer away from heat sources. Machine washing on gentle is acceptable, but hand washing extends the lifespan of the delicate detailing.

What to expect

The nylon-elastane blend feels noticeably silky against skin from the first moment you put it on. Most people find the fabric breathes well during wear, and the elastane content means it stretches to fit without bunching or rolling. The crotchless opening is positioned to align naturally with your body when worn correctly; check your fit the first time to ensure it sits where you expect it to.

First-time wearers often notice the immediate confidence shift that comes from wearing intentional, well-made lingerie. The red colour is bold and unmissable, and the lace detailing creates visual appeal that makes the piece feel considered rather than purely functional. The crotchless design means you can move freely without awkward adjustments or removal.

The lace is delicate but durable when cared for properly. Hand washing is gentler on the detailing than machine washing, and air-drying prevents elastane degradation. Most people find this thong holds its shape and colour well across multiple wears if washed mindfully. If lace directly against sensitive areas causes irritation, consider wearing a thin garment underneath, though most find the lace comfortable against bare skin.

Common sizing mistakes happen when people choose too large, thinking the crotchless design needs extra room. The elastane stretch means a well-fitted thong will move with you rather than gaping. Measure your hips accurately and refer to the size chart; most people find Medium/Large the most forgiving if they sit between sizes.
