Dr Feelgood 7 Function Vibrator by Lovehoney

The Dr Feelgood 7 Function Vibrator by Lovehoney is a black bullet vibrator with authentic Motley Crue album artwork, delivering seven distinct vibration functions across three speeds and four patterns. At 7.25 inches total length with a tapered tip, it suits both external clitoral and internal stimulation. The body-safe ABS plastic construction and waterproof design make it practical for shower use and easy cleaning.

What's in the box, and what it does

The Dr Feelgood 7 Function Vibrator by Lovehoney combines rock memorabilia with functional design in a tapered-tip bullet built from smooth, body-safe ABS plastic. The seven vibration functions—three steady speeds layered with four distinct patterns—let you shift intensity and rhythm without stopping. Unlike simpler vibrators with a single speed, this design gives real variety across a session. The waterproof exterior means you can use it in the shower or bath, and it holds up to thorough washing under running water. ABS plastic sits firmer than silicone but transmits vibrations clearly throughout the length, so you feel the full effect of each pattern change.

The tapered tip narrows toward the end, which sharpens stimulation on the clitoris or inside the vagina. This differs from straight-sided or bulbous designs—precision replaces broad pressure. The 4-inch circumference provides satisfying fullness without being demanding on insertion. Inside, the motor runs on two AA batteries, which you supply; metal vibrators often use rechargeable lithium cells, whereas this design prioritises simplicity and ease of battery swap.

Getting started with a bullet vibrator

Insert two fresh AA batteries into the base, twisting off the battery cap if needed. Switch on using the single control button and cycle through the seven functions to feel each speed and pattern before use. Start on a lower speed to warm up—most people find jumping straight to maximum intensity unnecessary. Apply water-based lubricant to the tip if you plan internal use; this reduces friction and makes insertion smoother. Waterproof design means you can test functions under running water without worry. Many first-timers expect one "best" setting but discover they prefer different modes depending on mood and session length.

Clitoral use requires light, sustained contact; the tapered tip lets you target small areas precisely. For internal play, insert slowly and allow the wider mid-section to seat comfortably before turning intensity up. If you want adaptability with different stimulation styles, finger vibrators let you apply pressure exactly where you choose, whereas this design works best when the tapered tip makes steady contact. Clean thoroughly after each use by rinsing under running water and patting dry before storing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Who it suits

Care and storage

Rinse the barrel and tip under warm running water immediately after use, using your hand or a soft cloth to wipe away any residue. The waterproof seal means you can rinse generously without risk. Dry with a clean, lint-free cloth and leave to air-dry fully before storing. Keep the battery cap tight when not in use to prevent moisture entering the chamber. Store in a cool, dry cupboard or drawer away from heat sources and direct sunlight, which can degrade the plastic over time. Remove batteries if you do not plan to use the vibrator for several weeks.

Understanding vibration patterns and speed options helps you choose settings that suit different moods and session types. What to expect

The tapered tip feels noticeably different from bulkier designs—it concentrates vibration into a narrower contact point, which suits pinpoint clitoral work but gives less broad pressure across larger areas. Most people find the transition from the narrow tip to the wider mid-barrel happens quickly; you feel it seat comfortably once fully inserted. The ABS plastic holds vibration well and feels firmer against skin than silicone, which some find more satisfying during longer sessions and others find less forgiving during friction.

Battery-powered vibrators produce an audible buzz, especially at higher speeds and intensity settings. The motor sits close to your hand, so you will hear the hum even during use. If silent operation is a priority, this design does not deliver that. The seven functions cycle sequentially through the single button, so reaching your preferred mode sometimes takes multiple presses—building intensity step-by-step rather than jumping directly to maximum.

First-time users often test all seven settings in quick succession to map the range, but most sessions settle into two or three favourites. The 4-inch circumference is comfortable for most internal users but not extreme; if you prefer either narrower or wider sensations, you may outgrow this design quickly. Waterproof reliability is genuine—rinsing and storage become simple—but do not submerge the battery cap or force water around the sealed edges.
