Maia COSMO USB Rechargeable Bullet by Maia Toys

The Maia COSMO USB Rechargeable Bullet by Maia Toys is a compact aluminium vibrator with a powerful Jaguar motor, 5 speeds and 5 variable patterns for customisable stimulation. At just 8.9 cm, it's discreet enough for travel yet powerful enough for intense solo or partnered play, and it's fully waterproof.

What it is

The Maia COSMO USB Rechargeable Bullet by Maia Toys is an aluminium bullet vibrator engineered for precision stimulation. Its polished metallic body houses a Jaguar motor that delivers consistent power across 10 distinct vibration settings—five escalating speeds and five patterned rhythms. The 8.9 cm length makes it pocket-sized, yet the 57-gram weight gives it a substantial, well-made feel that separates it from cheaper alternatives. Like other metal vibrators, the aluminium construction conducts vibration efficiently and resists wear, which is why Maia backs it with a lifetime warranty.

What sets the COSMO apart is the combination of motor responsiveness and build quality. The single-button interface cycles through all 10 settings without complexity, and the magnetic charging cable connects intuitively with zero guesswork. Fully submersible design means you're not limited to the bedroom—shower, bath or poolside all work. The 50-minute runtime is solid for a compact device, and 90-minute charge times keep downtime minimal.

What it does well

• Delivers genuine intensity: The Jaguar motor doesn't skimp on power; each of the five speeds builds noticeably from the last, and the patterned modes add variety that prevents monotony across multiple sessions.
• Fits real life: At 8.9 cm and weighing just 57 grams, it slides into a nightstand drawer, travel bag or even a coat pocket without creating bulk or drawing attention.
• Easy to control: One button does everything—press and hold to power on, tap to cycle through settings. No menus, no confusion, just straightforward operation.
• Water-ready design: Full submersibility means you're never confined to dry surfaces; showers, baths and water play all work without compromise.
• Charges fast and lasts long: 90 minutes to a full charge and 50 minutes of continuous play per session is realistic and dependable for regular use.

Charging, settings and first use

Charge the COSMO fully before first use—plug the magnetic cable into any standard USB port (wall adapter, computer or power bank all work) and attach it to the base charging contacts. The device will glow softly during charging and fade when complete. Your first full charge takes 90 minutes. Once charged, hold the single button for three seconds until you feel a vibration pulse; the motor will start at its lowest speed setting.

Tap the button to cycle through the remaining nine settings—you'll feel each transition. Speeds escalate from gentle to intense across the first five taps, then the next five taps introduce patterns (pulsing rhythms, waves and random intervals). Most people find their preferred setting within the first session and return to it, though the variety keeps things fresh across multiple uses. If you want complementary sensation, ticklers work well alongside the COSMO for dual stimulation during partnered play. Always ensure the seals are dry before charging to protect the battery connection.

Who should buy it

Care and storage

Rinse the COSMO under warm running water after use; the sealed aluminium body handles water easily, but avoid submerging it during cleaning if the charging contacts are exposed. Pat it dry with a soft cloth and store it in a cool, dry place—a nightstand drawer or dedicated pouch works well. Check the seals occasionally for any visible wear, though the aluminium and quality build mean it should remain reliable for years. Keep the USB charging cable away from heat and coiling stress.

What to expect

The Jaguar motor in the COSMO is genuinely powerful for its size—don't expect a whisper-quiet hum. The first time you hit the highest speed setting, many users are surprised by the intensity. The polished aluminium conducts vibration efficiently, which means stimulation travels through the entire body, not just the tip. Start at a lower speed and work upward to find where your sensitivity sits; the 10 settings give you room to dial in exactly what works for you.

The 50-minute runtime covers most sessions comfortably, though extended play or frequent use across a single day will mean recharging. The magnetic charging cable is intuitive once you use it once or twice—alignment happens naturally, and there's no guessing whether contact is solid. Battery charge holds reliably; you won't find the device losing juice if it sits unused for a week or two.

First-timers often underestimate how much the polished aluminium finish matters. It feels smooth against skin, and that smoothness is durable—it won't dull or become tacky with age. Cleaning is straightforward since water simply runs off the sealed body. A few users initially expect the compact size to feel toy-like, but the weight and build quality quickly dispel that; this is clearly an engineered device, not a novelty.
