What you're getting

In Case of Emergency Shot Glasses by Kheper Games are purpose-built entertaining vessels that sit within the broader range of bondage gear and social play accessories. The glasses feature clear, solid glass construction with an engaging emergency-themed design printed on the surface. Each piece maintains classic shot glass proportions—roughly 40–50 millilitres—so you pour consistent, measured servings every time.

What separates these from standard bar glassware is the entertainment benefit built into the design itself. The emergency theme is cheeky without being forced, and it becomes a natural prompt for playful behaviour during social occasions. The solid glass means they feel substantial in the hand and survive regular use at gatherings, unlike flimsy novelty alternatives that chip or crack after one party.

What stands out

  • Durable glass build: Clear, heavy-duty construction holds up to repeated use and dishwasher cycling without clouding or weakening.
  • Conversation starter: The emergency theme packaging and design spark immediate laughter and discussion among guests at any gathering.
  • Precise pouring: Standard shot glass dimensions ensure you measure out the correct amount every time, with no guesswork.
  • Gift-ready presentation: Fun emergency-themed packaging makes these suitable for direct gifting without extra wrapping needed.
  • adaptable use: Works equally well for spirits, cocktails, or any beverage where shot portions make sense at a social event.

Dimensions and materials

  • Material: Clear, well-made glass; dishwasher-safe without risk of cloudiness or deterioration from repeated washing.
  • Capacity: Traditional shot glass size of approximately 40–50 millilitres per glass.
  • Weight: Substantial glass weight provides a quality feel in the hand and stability on surfaces during use.
  • Design: Emergency-themed graphics printed or applied to the exterior surface; remains visible and legible through regular cleaning.
  • Contents: Typically sold as a set; check product listing for exact quantity per box.

How to use a glass bondage gear in a scene

Novelty shot glasses work best when they become part of the social ritual of a gathering. Place them on display before guests arrive so they catch attention immediately when people enter the space. When it's time to pour, the emergency theme naturally prompts playful announcements or mock-panic responses that build group energy and laughter. Introduce them as "emergency supplies" in a deadpan way, and let the humour develop organically as people make their own jokes.

During active use, pass them around the group so everyone gets a chance to hold and admire the design. The fetish fantasy of dramatic emergency declarations pairs naturally with these glasses—people will invent ridiculous reasons to invoke the "emergency protocol" as an excuse to drink. Handle them as you would any quality glassware: place on stable surfaces away from edges, avoid sudden temperature changes, and set aside for proper cleaning after the gathering ends.

Great if you…
  • Host regular parties or gatherings and enjoy adding memorable talking points to social occasions.
  • Shop for gifts for mates who appreciate quality glassware with a sense of humour.
  • Want proper glass that actually survives repeated use instead of flimsy one-time novelty items.
  • Appreciate cheeky design that works across different age groups and social settings.
Maybe not if you…
  • Prefer completely serious, understated barware with no playful design elements whatsoever.
  • Need plain glassware where the humour might distract from professional or formal entertaining contexts.
Handle these glasses as you would any drinking vessel: place on stable, dry surfaces to prevent breakage, and allow them to cool fully before washing if they've held hot beverages. Safety first. Never leave a restrained person alone, never restrain the neck, and keep safety scissors within reach. Agree a safeword or signal beforehand, and check circulation regularly. Stop use and seek medical advice if you experience pain, numbness, swelling, discolouration, bleeding or persistent irritation.

Care and storage

Clean these glasses by hand or place them in the dishwasher on a standard cycle—the durable glass construction resists cloudiness and deterioration from repeated washing. Dry immediately after washing to prevent water spots or mineral buildup from tap water. Store them upright in a cupboard away from direct heat or thermal shock. Keep them in the emergency packaging if you're not using them regularly, as it protects against dust and damage between gatherings.

More on the subject

Novelty glassware works best when it combines genuine functionality with entertainment benefit, so these shot glasses earn their place at any gathering rather than sitting unused. They bridge the gap between serious barware and throwaway party gimmicks. Read more about creating memorable social moments in our guide to Shibari Rope Bondage.

What to expect

by Risetob

These glasses perform exactly as standard shot glasses do—they measure, hold, and serve spirits or cocktails with consistent precision. The difference lies in the immediate social reaction once guests spot the emergency theme. Most people laugh on sight and begin inventing scenarios before they even take a drink. The first time you use them, expect immediate conversation and several rounds of mock-serious "emergency protocol" announcements.

The glass quality means these genuinely survive regular party use. Unlike basic novelty alternatives that chip after one or two gatherings, these stay intact through years of entertaining. They feel substantial and well-balanced in the hand, which adds to the overall impression that you've invested in proper entertaining equipment rather than basic gimmicks.

Cleaning is straightforward—dishwasher-safe without risk of cloudiness or surface damage. The printed design remains clear and legible through repeated washing. Most hosts find these work equally well for casual home entertaining or slightly more structured social occasions where you want to inject personality without losing functionality.
