Shower Assistant Anal Cleansing by SI Novelties is a portable water-based cleansing system that attaches to your shower for precise intimate hygiene. It delivers adjustable water pressure through dual hoses, reaching comfortably without strain. Ideal for frequent travellers and anyone prioritising thorough personal cleansing at home or away.

What's in the box, and what it does

Shower Assistant Anal Cleansing by SI Novelties is a complete water-based cleansing system designed for personal hygiene during or after shower use. The kit includes a silky-feel silicone reservoir, two hoses of different lengths, dual nozzle attachments, and a secure hanging clip that grips your shower arm. The system fills with warm water and hangs at a comfortable height, giving you control over water pressure through an adjustable flow valve. Products in the Anal Cleansing range vary from handheld bottles to full systems like this one.

What makes this cleansing system different is the dual-hose design paired with genuine pressure control. The longer primary hose reaches comfortably without awkward positioning, while the overflow hose prevents overfilling. The flow adjustment valve actually works—you move from gentle rinse to thorough cleansing by simply turning it, rather than guessing at water temperature or pressure.

The features that matter

• Adjustable Flow Control: Dial in exact water pressure to suit your comfort and cleansing needs without blasts or weak streams.
• Dual Hose System: Primary hose reaches 78 inches, overflow stays at 51 inches, giving you proper reach and overflow safety.

• Secure Hanging Clip: Grips shower arms firmly throughout use so the system stays in place without slipping or falling.
• Travel-Friendly Design: Lightweight silicone reservoir packs flat into luggage, delivering the same thorough cleansing on the road as at home.

Getting the most from an anal cleansing

Fill the silicone reservoir with warm water—not hot, as this keeps the experience comfortable. Hang the system from your shower arm using the clip, positioning it at waist height or slightly higher. Start with the flow valve set to low, then gradually increase pressure as you become familiar with the sensation. Use the nozzle that suits your preference: the larger nozzle for broader coverage, the smaller one for more targeted application. Always relax and breathe steadily throughout—tension makes cleansing less effective and less comfortable.

After cleansing, rinse the entire system thoroughly with clean water. Empty any remaining water from the reservoir and hoses by holding them upright, then hang them to air-dry completely before storage. Keep your cleansing routine separate from other shower activities, and always clean the system with Sex Toy Cleaner or mild soap weekly to prevent bacterial growth. Store the reservoir and hoses in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

Who it suits

Care and storage

Rinse the entire system with clean water immediately after use. Empty the reservoir and hoses by holding them upright and allowing water to drain completely. Wipe the silicone exterior with a soft cloth and allow all parts to air-dry fully before packing or storing. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Clean the system weekly with mild soap or specialised toy cleaner to prevent bacterial growth. Check all hose connections and the flow valve regularly to ensure they remain secure and functional.

Background reading

Water-based cleansing systems have become increasingly popular as people prioritise thorough personal hygiene. Understanding how pressure, temperature, and nozzle design affect comfort and effectiveness helps you get the best results from your system. Read more about the sensations and safety considerations in What Does Anal Feel Like, which covers the anatomy and realistic expectations for cleansing practices.

What to expect

The 78-inch primary hose reaches comfortably to every angle without requiring you to contort yourself in the shower. Many first-time users find that starting with the larger nozzle and lower pressure setting helps them relax and understand the sensation. The flow control valve operates smoothly, so you can adjust pressure mid-use without stopping or fumbling with the system.

Cleansing typically takes five to ten minutes once you establish a routine. The silicone feels soft in your hands and the clip holds securely throughout—you won't experience slipping or dropping during use. Water temperature matters more than pressure: warm (not hot) water feels significantly more comfortable than cool water, and allows more effective cleansing.

The hoses are long enough that you can position yourself naturally in the shower without strain. First users often underestimate how different targeted water pressure feels compared to basic rinsing, and appreciate how thoroughly clean you feel afterward. The dual nozzles mean you can switch approaches depending on your preference or how you feel on any given day.

Upkeep is straightforward: rinse everything thoroughly, allow it to air-dry fully, and store it flat or coiled loosely in a dry place. The silicone does not degrade quickly with regular use, and the hoses remain flexible over months of regular travel and home use.
