The Nubby Bullet Vibrator by California Exotics

The Nubby Bullet Vibrator by California Exotics is a compact silicone vibrator with a textured surface and 10 vibration patterns, designed for focused stimulation with an intelligent memory chip that remembers your last setting. It suits anyone seeking precise control and customisable sensation in a waterproof, travel-friendly package.

Design and build

The Nubby Bullet Vibrator by California Exotics combines a curved ergonomic body with a uniquely textured surface that sets it apart from standard smooth vibrators. The nubby silicone construction delivers pinpoint stimulation across varied ridged patterns, creating sensation that changes with movement and angle. Unlike metal vibrators, which conduct vibration broadly and uniformly, the textured silicone surface grips and teases different spots with each stroke.

The vibrator measures 9 cm by 2 cm, making it compact enough for one-handed control or travel. Its neon finish sits atop a body-safe silicone shell that's durable and easy to clean. The intelligent memory chip embedded within recalls your preferred vibration pattern from the last session, eliminating the need to cycle through settings each time you use it.

The features that matter

How to get the best from a bullet vibrator

Start by fully charging the vibrator using the included USB cable—one hour gives you 45–60 minutes of ready time. Press the button once to power on; it will resume your last used setting thanks to the memory chip. Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to reduce friction and amplify sensation, then explore each of the 10 functions to find what suits your mood. The escalation modes build intensity gradually, so begin at lower speeds if you're testing the vibrator for the first time.

Use the travel lock feature whenever you pack the vibrator for transport to prevent accidental activation. Clean it after use with warm water and mild soap, then dry thoroughly before storage or charging. For even greater adaptability, pair this vibrator with vibrating masturbators that allow you to combine external and internal stimulation in a single session. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the silicone and battery longevity.

Is this the one for you?

Care and storage

Rinse the vibrator under warm running water with a small amount of mild soap immediately after use, paying attention to the textured nubby surface where residue can collect. Dry it thoroughly with a lint-free cloth before storing or charging. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme heat or direct sunlight, which can degrade the silicone over time. Check the USB charging port monthly for any moisture or debris, and keep the travel lock engaged during storage to prevent accidental battery drain.

Understanding how texture, function count, and waterproofing work together helps you make the right choice. What to expect

The nubby surface creates a noticeably different sensation from standard smooth vibrators—most first-time users notice the texture gripping and massaging rather than simply buzzing. The 9 cm length and 2 cm width make it easy to manoeuvre with one hand or to position precisely. First use often reveals that escalation modes feel more gradual and building than straightforward constant vibration, so allow yourself a few sessions to find which of the 10 patterns suits you best.

The memory chip is genuinely useful—you set your favourite pattern once, and the vibrator powers back on ready to go. This removes the friction of cycling through options every time. Battery life of 45–60 minutes per charge is solid for a compact toy; most users charge weekly or bi-weekly depending on frequency of use.

Cleaning is straightforward because of the IPX7 waterproof rating: rinse under warm water after use, dry, and you're done. The silicone is durable and doesn't trap odours or discolouration if cared for properly. Most users report the nubby surface maintaining its texture even after extended use, though like all silicone toys it can attract lint and dust during storage—store it in a pouch or drawer rather than loose on a shelf.

The travel lock and compact size make it genuinely portable. People who take this vibrator on holidays or to partners' homes appreciate that it charges quickly and stores invisibly. The neon finish is bold rather than discrete, so if you prefer items that blend into your bathroom or bedroom, you may want to keep it in a small bag or case.
