Aura Dual Flutter Rabbit Vibrator by California Exotics

The Aura Dual Flutter Rabbit Vibrator by California Exotics is a dual-action rabbit vibrator with independent controls for the shaft and external butterfly stimulator, each with 10 vibration speeds. It delivers simultaneous internal and external stimulation, with a 90-minute runtime and waterproof design. This suits anyone wanting blended sensation without compromise.

What's in the box, and what it does

The Aura Dual Flutter Rabbit Vibrator by California Exotics combines internal shaft stimulation with external butterfly stimulation, each operating independently. The shaft penetrates internally with targeted vibration, while the fluttering butterfly works the external area at the same time. Body-safe silicone construction means it feels soft against skin and is simple to clean. Unlike single-action vibrators, this design lets you control each zone separately—run them in sync or mix speeds for a custom experience.

The internal shaft is 4.5 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter, with a 3-inch butterfly stimulator that spans 2.25 inches wide. Dual independent controls give you 10 speeds on each zone, so you can dial in exactly what you want. The vibrator sits waterproof and fully submersible, meaning you can use it in the shower or bath without concern. When you choose rimming vibrators or rabbit designs like this one, you're selecting tools built for layered, sustained pleasure across multiple sensitive areas.

What it does well

• Independent dual controls. Each zone operates separately so you can run the shaft at speed 7 and the butterfly at speed 3, creating layered sensations impossible with a single-action vibrator.
• Fluttering butterfly sensation. The external stimulator creates a rhythmic, building flutter that differs markedly from standard buzzing, adding texture and variation to each session.
• Extended battery life. Ninety minutes of runtime on low speed means long sessions without interruption; 45 minutes on high for intense, sustained pleasure.
• Memory chip function. The vibrator remembers your last-used speed settings and resumes exactly there, so you skip the fumbling and go straight to what works.
• Waterproof reliability. IPX7 rating permits full submersion, giving you freedom to explore in water without damage or leakage concerns.

Setting up a rabbit vibrator

Charge the Aura fully before first use—the USB cable connects at the base and takes 2 hours for a complete charge. Once charged, familiarise yourself with the two control buttons: one adjusts the shaft, the other adjusts the butterfly. Start on low speed (around 3–4) to feel how each zone responds, then experiment with matching speeds or running them independently. Apply water-based lubricant to the shaft before insertion; silicone lubricants can degrade the material over time. The travel lock (hold the power button for 3 seconds) prevents accidental activation in your bag.

Many people explore toys like remote control prostate vibrators once they understand dual stimulation, but the Aura's independent manual controls let you adjust sensation in real time without a partner. During your first few sessions, take time to find which speeds on each zone work best for you—this is where the memory chip becomes invaluable. After use, clean the silicone under warm running water with a mild soap, dry thoroughly, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or sunlight.

Is it a good match?

Care and storage

Wash the Aura with warm water and mild soap after every use, paying attention to the seams where the butterfly connects to the main body. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a lint-free cloth. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, or cold—silicone can become brittle or sticky in unsuitable conditions. Keep the USB charging cable in a safe place. Do not store it with other silicone toys or in airtight bags for extended periods, as silicone can degrade when in prolonged contact with other materials or without air circulation.

What to expect

The fluttering sensation from the butterfly differs noticeably from standard vibration. Most people find it takes a session or two to adjust to the rhythm—it builds gradually rather than hitting hard immediately, so patience on the first use pays off. The dual controls mean you're managing two zones independently, which adds flexibility but also requires a moment to find your preferred combination.

Battery life is genuine: 90 minutes on low speed is realistic and keeps pace with longer sessions without interruption. The memory chip works reliably—it remembers your last speed settings without fail, which many users find convenient. Cleaning is straightforward because the body-safe silicone rinses clean under warm water and dries quickly with a cloth.

First-time users sometimes expect the butterfly to deliver pinpoint intensity like a smaller external vibrator would. In reality, it covers a broader area with a gentler, rhythmic flutter—suited to sustained stimulation rather than concentrated pressure. If you prefer targeted sensation, running the shaft alone at higher speeds and the butterfly at lower speeds creates better balance.

The waterproof rating holds up to normal submersion in shower or bath use. Some users report that the controls can become slippery when wet, so familiarise yourself with button placement before submerging. Storage in a breathable pouch (not sealed plastic) keeps it in good condition long-term.
