A closer look

The Maximus Vibe 55 Cock Ring by Bathmate is engineered to sit snugly around your penis and testicles, transmitting vibration directly through the silicone to deliver sensation exactly where it matters most. The body-safe silicone hugs your contours and remains comfortable during extended wear. What sets it apart from standard cock rings is the integrated detachable bullet vibrator, which gives you control over intensity and placement in ways a fixed ring cannot.

Bathmate has built this with real consideration for how vibration actually feels. The ten modes let you start gentle and build, or go straight to full power—whatever suits your mood. The waterproof design means you're not limited to the bedroom, and the USB rechargeable battery removes the hassle of finding replacement batteries mid-session. It's a ring that works as well solo as it does with a partner.

Getting the fit right on a cock ring

Start by sliding the Maximus Vibe 55 onto your penis while flaccid or semi-erect, depending on what feels most comfortable. The silicone stretches to accommodate, but you want it snug enough to maintain firmness without cutting off circulation. Once positioned, gently work the ring down and back so it sits comfortably around both your shaft and testicles. The fit should feel secure but never painful or restrictive. If it feels too tight, remove it and try again; silicone rings are forgiving and will adjust as you find your ideal position.

Activation comes next: locate the control button and cycle through the ten modes at your own pace. Start with a lower setting to get used to the sensation, then build intensity as you prefer. Unlike fixed Leather Cock Rings, this one lets you adjust power on the fly without removal. The detachable bullet means you can experiment with keeping it in place or removing it to target specific areas. Most people find their sweet spot within a few uses, and the waterproofing opens up shower and bath play once you're confident with the fit.

Right fit or not?

Care and storage

Clean the silicone after each use with warm water and mild soap, or a toy-specific cleanser if you prefer. Dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth before storage. Store the ring and detachable bullet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can degrade silicone over time. Keep the USB charging port dry and free from debris. Silicone is durable and long-lasting with proper care; avoid prolonged contact with oils or petroleum-based products, which can weaken the material.

What to expect

First-time users often find the snug silicone fit takes a moment to adjust to, but most report that sensation settles within a few minutes. The vibration intensity varies noticeably between the ten modes; lower settings deliver gentle pulses perfect for building anticipation, while higher modes deliver genuine power. Battery life typically runs several hours on a full charge, so you won't run out mid-session unless you're planning a very extended play period.

Cleaning is straightforward: warm water and soap handle it easily, and the silicone dries quickly. The detachable bullet means you have two components to maintain rather than one, but both are simple to care for. Most people find their preferred mode within the first few uses and stick with it, though experimentation keeps things fresh if you're inclined to explore.

The waterproofing genuinely works, and shower or bath play opens up a different sensory experience—the warmth of water combined with vibration creates something notably different from dry use. Durability is solid if you avoid extreme heat and store it away from sunlight between uses. The silicone doesn't harbour bacteria or odours easily, so maintenance is low-effort compared to more porous materials.
